Senses Fail and Saves The Day will be performing their respective albums Let It Enfold You and Through Being Cool in their entireties.

Employing a hard-hitting blend of hardcore, screamo, pop-punk, and metalcore, New Jersey’s Senses Fail emerged in the early 2000s with a slick amalgam of post-hardcore muscle and emo heartbreak. Led by vocalist James “Buddy” Nielsen, the sole constant through the band’s long and eventful career, Senses Fail has remained at the fore of the commercial hardcore scene since issuing their 2004 debut,Let It Enfold You. Mainstays of the Billboard 200 and U.S. indie charts, the band has released a string of acclaimed albums, including Life Is Not a Waiting Room (2008), Renacer (2013), and Hell Is in Your Head (2022).

Perfecting their power pop/rock since the mid-’90s, New Jersey’s Saves the Day helped forge the path for an entire sect of pop-embracing emo. Turning away early on from a melodic hardcore style, the band developed a brand of hooky songwriting, vulnerable lyrics, and a distinctively angular vocal style on albums like 1999’s Through Being Cool and their commercial peak 2001’s Stay What You Are. The band would continue to evolve, shifting lineups and experimenting with different styles as time passed, but their early output influenced waves of emo-pop acts for years to come.
