EVERY DAY IS EARTH DAY

Earth Day Celebration in Jersey City at Liberty State Park

200 Morris Pesin Drive, Jersey City, NJ

GROWING THE MOVEMENT SINCE 1970

New Jersey has always been on the cutting edge being at the forefront of all environmental issues with world leaders coming out of New Jersey to run organizations like the EPA amongst other important climate related agencies.

New Jersey was the third state to consolidate natural resources while making environmental driven platforms, plans, programs into a single state agency, charged with administering aggressive environmental and conservation efforts. Established by law on that initial Earth Day, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection began its role of managing the state’s natural resources and addressing challenges to air quality, water resources, land use and waste management, to name but a few.
