Juvenile w/ The 400 Degreez Band - Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour
Hip-hop wouldn't be the same without Juvenile. Over nearly three decades, the multi-platinum New Orleans icon has delivered classic albums, influenced two generations of artists, and pioneered Louisiana bounce music with global appeal. His journey began in the Magnolia Projects, inspired by Melle Mel’s verse on “The Message.” Juvenile first gained local attention on DJ Jimi’s “It’s Jimi” in 1991 and brought bounce music to the national stage with “Bounce for the Juvenile.” His 1995 debut, Being Myself, set the stage for his breakthrough collaboration with producer Mannie Fresh, leading to the seminal 400 Degreez, which went quadruple-platinum and featured hits like “Ha” and “Back That Azz Up.”
Juvenile also found success with The Hot Boys and continued his solo career with platinum albums Tha G-Code and Project English. In 2003, Juve The Great produced the Billboard-topping single “Slow Motion.” After reuniting with Cash Money Records, he and Birdman released the collaborative album J.A.G. in 2019, earning critical praise and millions of streams. Juvenile remains a driving force in hip-hop, committed to making good music and inspiring the next generation.
