Taking place on the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between May 31 and June 9, 2024, this year's festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of cinematic excellence.

In response to the ever-evolving landscape of film festivals, the NJIFF will be embracing a hybrid format, offering both online and in-person screenings for audiences to enjoy. With the convenience of virtual screenings accessible via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date, film enthusiasts can indulge in the festival experience from the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, in-person screenings will be held at Rutgers University's Voorhees Hall #105, located at 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, NJ, with showtimes at 5 PM or 7 PM on their respective dates.

Tickets for the NJIFF are designed to offer flexibility and accessibility for attendees. Each General Admission Ticket, priced at $15 per program, grants access to both virtual and in-person screenings. For those eager to fully immerse themselves in the festival experience, the Festival All Access Pass, available for $100, provides entry to all screenings and events throughout the duration of the festival. Students can also take advantage of discounted pricing with the In-Person Only Student Ticket, priced at $10 per program.

From captivating narratives to thought-provoking documentaries and groundbreaking experimental works, the NJIFF's lineup promises to showcase the best in contemporary cinema from around the world. Welcome to the 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival!

Our 29th Annual Festival competition will be taking place the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between May 31-June 9, 2024. The Festival will be a hybrid one as we will be presenting it online as well as doing in-person screenings at Rutgers University. All the films will be available virtually via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date. VOD start times are 12 Midnight Eastern USA. Each General Admission Ticket or Festival Pass purchased is good for both the virtual and the in-person screenings. The in-person screenings will be held in Voorhees Hall #105/Rutgers University, 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, NJ beginning at 5PM or 7PM on their show date. Note: The Screenings on June 1 will be in Milledoler Hall #100/Rutgers University, 520 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ. All times are Eastern USA. Plus, we are very proud to announce that acclaimed singer-songwriter Marissa Nadler will be in concert on Saturday, June 15 at 7PM.

In-Person Show Student Tickets=$10 Per Program.

All the works that we are screening are part of the 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival Competition and were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 35 finalists which will be publicly screened at our Festival. The finalists were selected from over 702 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges will choose the prize winners in conjunction with the Festival Director. Prize winners will be announced after the screenings on June 9 via our social media sites.

The 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival is curated by Albert Gabriel Nigrin.

Live Screenings Info, Location, Directions and Parking:

Voorhees Hall #105/Rutgers University, 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, NJ = Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 and then take Route 18N (New Brunswick direction) and go for 2 1/2 miles to the College Avenue Campus/George Street exit (immediately after the Route 27S exit). Make a left at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto George Street, then go to the next light and make a right onto Hamilton Street. Voorhees Hall is adjacent to the Zimmerli Art Museum at 71 Hamilton Street. New Jersey Film Festival patrons can park in Rutgers Lots #1 (next to Kirkpatrick Chapel) and #16 (next to Murray and Milledoler Halls).
