Born on December 10, 1972, in Downey, California, Frankenreiter began his career as a professional surfer before transitioning to music. His music style is often described as folk, rock, and surf music, blending elements of acoustic guitar, smooth vocals, and beachy vibes. Frankenreiter's music career gained momentum after his friendship with fellow surfer and musician Jack Johnson. He signed with Johnson's record label, Brushfire Records, and released his self-titled debut album in 2004. Since then, he has released several albums, including "Move by Yourself" (2006), "Pass It Around" (2008), and "The Heart" (2015). His music often reflects his love for the ocean and the laid-back lifestyle associated with surfing culture. In addition to his solo career, Frankenreiter has collaborated with various artists and continues to tour internationally, sharing his easygoing tunes with audiences around the world.
