Since its formation in 1969, this 19-member ensemble has enthralled audiences both at home and abroad with America’s greatest original art form: jazz.

The Jazz Ambassadors’ repertoire is as diverse as it is electrifying, featuring standards, popular tunes, Dixieland favorites, and patriotic selections, many of which are expertly crafted by members of the ensemble.

Having graced stages in all 50 states and across the globe, the Jazz Ambassadors bring with them a wealth of experience and acclaim. Recent performances at prestigious venues such as the Toronto Jazz Festival, the Kennedy Center Honors, and the Colbert Report attest to the band’s extraordinary talent and versatility.

Throughout their illustrious career, the Jazz Ambassadors have collaborated with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Gordon Goodwin, Bobby Shew, Ernie Watts, and the Dave Brubeck All-Star Quintet. Additionally, joint concerts with esteemed orchestras like the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall have further solidified the band’s reputation for excellence.
