Returning this spring to the picturesque Historic Smithville Park, this beloved annual event is an opportunity for local artists 60 and older to showcase their talent and creativity in a vibrant, community-driven exhibition.

Burlington County artists 60 and older - both professional and non-professional - are invited to submit their original artwork for this year's Burlington County Senior Art Show, which will be held at the Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery from May 16 through September 6. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a passionate hobbyist, the Senior Art Show invites you to share your original artwork. The event, which is hosted at the Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery, will be held from May 16 through September 6, 2025. The show is organized by the Burlington County Department of Human Services Office on Aging in collaboration with the Burlington County Parks System.

🖌️ Submission Details: Your Chance to Shine

If you’ve been working on an artistic project you’re proud of, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase it. Burlington County residents, aged 60 and older, are encouraged to submit their work, regardless of whether they are professional or non-professional artists. This is your chance to have your work admired by the community, and who knows? You could even be one of the top pieces chosen for the New Jersey Senior Art Show, which will feature works from senior artists all over the state.

The artwork will be displayed in nine categories:

  • Watercolor and Gouache

  • Sculpture
  • Mixed Media
  • Print/Digital
  • Craft/Works on Paper

🎨 When and Where to Submit

All artwork must be delivered to the Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery during the two-day intake period on May 2 (10 AM to Noon) or May 3 (1 PM to 4 PM). There’s no fee to submit, so if you’ve created something you’re proud of within the last three years, bring it along to the gallery.

The best pieces from each category will be selected by a panel of jurors. Winning works from the Burlington County show will be considered for display in the New Jersey Senior Art Show, where top art from across the state will be featured.

Even if you don’t end up with the top honors, every piece will be displayed at the Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery for everyone to admire. The exhibition provides the perfect space to celebrate the rich talent that exists in Burlington County.
