Explore the fascinating universe of Shakespeare’s canon, as well as his contemporaries’, in this engaging, popular, annual offering from The Shakespeare Theatre. Ideal for both Bard-ophiles and Shakespeare novices alike, these read-aloud sessions delve into the compelling characters, conflicts, and universal truths that have made Shakespeare the object of global fascination for over four centuries. Featured plays include Shakespeare’s Hamlet alongside derivatives including James Ijames’ Fat Ham, Lauren Gunderson’s A Room in the Castle, and Austin Tichenor and Reed Martin’s The Comedy of Hamlet! (a Prequel). Classes meet via Zoom on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:30pm.
