Juan Esteban Aristizabal Vasquez, known as Juanes, was born on August 9, 1972, in Medellin, Colombia, and has solidified his position as a defining figure in Latin rock. A 29-time Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner who has sold over 15 million records worldwide, Juanes is known for hits including A Dios le Pido, La Camisa Negra, Me Enamora, and Es Por Ti. The Juanes World Tour 2026 supports his upcoming album JuanesTeban, co-produced by Nico Cotton, and includes more than 50 international shows across Latin America, Europe, the UK, and North America. Each show reflects the album’s themes of duality, light and dark, cumbia and rock, spirituality and romance, blending classic hits from Juanes’ catalog with new songs performed live for the first time. Juanes has also spoken openly throughout his career about violence and injustice in Colombia, using his platform to advocate for the victims of the Colombian civil war.
