Jack Antonoff and Bleachers Presents: Shadow of the City

Jack Antonoff’s eighth annual Shadow of the City festival returns to the Stone Pony Summer Stage, headlined as always by his band Bleachers, alongside Real Estate, Toadies, Grace Ives, and Bike Routes. Antonoff, a New Jersey native who has cowritten and produced songs for Lorde and Taylor Swift, has long called the Summer Stage the venue he grew up dreaming about playing. This year’s edition arrives with extra significance after the originally scheduled May date was postponed due to weather, prompting Antonoff and Bleachers to instead play a spontaneous, sold out free album release show inside the historic indoor Stone Pony to celebrate their new record, Everyone for Ten Minutes. Now rescheduled to its full outdoor festival format, Shadow of the City continues its tradition of bringing together indie rock’s most exciting voices for a single day of music on the Jersey Shore.
