A Night of Music & Memories

A Night of Music and Memories brings together a legendary lineup of classic pop and doo-wop acts: Jay Siegel’s Tokens, The Vogues, The Tymes, La La Brooks, and Joey Dee & the Starliters. Jay Siegel is best known for his soaring falsetto on The Tokens’ signature hit The Lion Sleeps Tonight, which topped the charts in 1961 and returned to the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994 after being featured in Disney’s The Lion King. Siegel and The Tokens have appeared onstage with The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Simon & Garfunkel, and produced hits for other groups including The Chiffons’ He’s So Fine and Tony Orlando and Dawn’s Candida. Jay was recently given a lifetime achievement award by the East Coast Music Hall of Fame. Rounding out the bill, La La Brooks brings her legendary voice from The Crystals, The Vogues deliver their string of 1960s pop hits, The Tymes contribute their smooth vocal harmonies, and Joey Dee & the Starliters bring the Peppermint Twist era back to life for a night of pure nostalgic doo-wop and pop.
