3 Years Hollow

September 5 @ 7:00 PM
Free

3 Years Hollow is a hard rock band hailing from the Quad Cities region of Iowa and Illinois, made up of singer Jose Urquiza, guitarists Tony Reeves and Neil Kuhlman, bassist Dex Digga, and drummer Chris Cushman. Formed in 2005, the band built its following on a sound that strikes a rare balance between melody and heaviness, drawing comparisons to hard rock giants like Sevendust and Chevelle. Their 2014 sophomore album The Cracks, produced by Clint Lowery of Sevendust, reached number 23 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart and delivered two Top 40 singles on the Mainstream Rock chart. The band has since shared stages with Papa Roach, Sevendust, Godsmack, Seether, Skillet, Buckcherry, and Nonpoint, and performed at the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival. Frontman Jose Urquiza has described the band’s songwriting as entirely rooted in honesty, saying everything he writes about is a completely personal experience or something he’s witnessed himself, aiming to give listeners something real. This show is joined by Trackside, The Expatriate, and Gathering After Ashes.
