KickCharge Creative, the home services branding agency behind some of the trades industry’s most recognizable logos, has acquired JumpSpark, the fleet management company it had already been partnering with for years, closing the loop between designing a brand and actually putting it on the road.
A Warren County Branding Agency Just Bought the Company That Wraps Its Clients’ Trucks
KickCharge Creative, the branding and digital marketing agency headquartered in Washington, New Jersey, has officially acquired JumpSpark, a fleet management and vehicle wrap installation company that had already been operating as its strategic partner for years. The deal merges brand development with the physical, on the road execution of that branding into a single company, giving home service businesses and contractors one continuous pipeline from logo design to a fully wrapped fleet.
A Partnership That Predates the Acquisition by Years
The deal formalizes a relationship that already ran deep before either company’s name appeared on the same letterhead. JumpSpark was founded by Tommy Mello, the entrepreneur behind A1 Garage Door Service, after Mello himself had used KickCharge years earlier to rebrand his own company and watched firsthand how a strong brand identity could reshape a business’s entire trajectory. Frustrated by how few real resources existed for home service business owners trying to build and maintain a commercial vehicle fleet, Mello built JumpSpark specifically to fill that gap, then brought KickCharge on as a strategic partner from the outset to ensure JumpSpark’s own clients got a complete brand experience rather than a fleet management service operating in isolation from their actual branding.
That relationship had already grown close enough that Mello’s own investment vehicle, TMV Investments, took a stake directly in KickCharge Creative before this acquisition ever closed, an unusual dynamic in which the founder of the company being acquired had already become an investor in the company doing the acquiring. Bringing JumpSpark fully into the KickCharge family this year effectively formalized a partnership both companies had already been operating as something close to a single, unified business for years.
Three Decades Turning Plumbing Vans Into Moving Billboards
KickCharge traces its roots back more than 30 years, originally founded as Graphic D-Signs before rebranding to KickCharge Creative and relocating into a custom designed headquarters building in Washington, New Jersey. Under CEO Dan Antonelli and President Terri Lynne Briggs, the agency has built its reputation specifically around trades focused branding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing contractors among its core clientele, turning generic, forgettable service businesses into distinctive local brands built around bold logos, memorable color schemes, and vehicle wraps designed to function as round the clock advertising.
What the Combined Pipeline Actually Looks Like
Prior to the acquisition, KickCharge and JumpSpark operated as connected but separate businesses, requiring contractors to coordinate between two organizations even when working from the same overall brand vision. Now fully unified, the combined company offers a single, continuous process from initial brand concept through a fleet actually hitting the road.
Step 1: Brand Creation
KickCharge develops core logos, color schemes, and marketing messaging for the business.
Step 2: Fleet Management
JumpSpark handles vehicle sourcing, custom builds, and leasing logistics.
Step 3: Physical Execution
A nationwide network of vetted wrap installers applies the branding across the client’s full fleet.
JumpSpark’s own value proposition centers on removing the operational headaches that tend to accompany fleet ownership, negotiating leasing agreements, sourcing the right vehicles for a given trade, tracking ongoing vehicle health, and managing risk, all functions that pull a contractor’s attention away from actually running their business. The company’s nationwide network of commercial wrap installers carries a combined 170 years of industry craftsmanship, giving KickCharge’s design work a reliable, professional execution layer regardless of where in the country a client’s fleet happens to be based.
For a home service business, the pitch is straightforward. Rather than developing a brand identity through one vendor, then separately researching leasing options, sourcing vehicles, and hunting down a qualified wrap installer, the combined KickCharge and JumpSpark pipeline offers one continuous relationship covering the entire process, turning a plumbing van or an HVAC truck from a plain work vehicle into a moving advertisement built to reinforce the same brand identity everywhere it drives.
