Jordan Arredondo (Mateo): Jordan makes his Two River Theater debut with American Mariachi. His regional credits include Sanctuary City at Cincinnati Playhouse and A Christmas Carol at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. In Chicago, he has performed in productions such as In The Heights and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at Marriott Theatre, and Guys and Dolls and Grease at Drury Lane. Maggie Bofill (Amalia): A long-time NYC actor and founding member of LAByrinth Theater Co., Maggie Bofill is making her Two River debut with American Mariachi. She has also appeared in Law and Order SVU, The Path, Smash, and High Town.
Crissy Guerrero (Soyla): Crissy Guerrero, born in Mexico and raised in California, is making her Two River Theater debut. She originated the role of Soyla Reina in the world premiere of American Mariachi at Denver Center and Old Globe Theaters. Her other credits include In the Heights at Marriott Theatre, and On Your Feet at Moonlight Amphitheatre. Crissy has also appeared on TV in “Parks and Recreation,” “SpongeBob,” and “Big Mouth.” She dedicates her performance to Doreen Montalvo and families struggling with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Marta Rymer (Tía Carmen): Marta Rymer, a Boston native, is making her debut at Two River Theater with American Mariachi. Heather Velazquez (Boli) hails from Miami, Fl where she graduated from New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting and the Performing Arts. She was nominated for 2018 San Diego Critics Circle Craig Noel Award for her Outstanding featured performance as Boli in American Mariachi (The Old Globe).
