Bakin’ Bad, self-proclaimed as New Jersey’s premier Black-owned and fully licensed cannabis dispensary, helmed by an African American disabled-veteran entrepreneur, is set to debut with an unveiling celebration on Tuesday at 2834 Atlantic Ave. The grand opening for the public is scheduled for April 20.
The unveiling ceremony will take place from 5 to 6 p.m., coinciding with the MJ Unpacked cannabis business conference, which will run from Tuesday through Thursday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
Founded by Atlantic City native Edward Wilson Jr., Bakin’ Bad aims to empower marginalized and underrepresented communities by providing opportunities within the cannabis industry, as stated in a news release.
In addition to retailing cannabis products, Bakin’ Bad will offer delivery services, as outlined in the release. Moreover, it has established a partnership with ButACake, an edibles company co-founded by Martha Figaro, as part of its business strategy.
