She emphasized that the current economic conditions make this year’s drive even more critical.

Senator Singleton echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of providing students with the tools they need to thrive. Last summer, this collaborative effort successfully distributed over 500 backpacks filled with supplies, making a tangible difference for hundreds of children. While the BlueClaws do have a fantastic “Independence Week Fireworks Show” on Thursday, July 3rd at ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, they are actually on the road for the rest of the July 4th weekend.

They’ll be playing against the Wilmington Blue Rocks in Delaware from Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6th.

So, if you’re looking for fireworks at the BlueClaws’ home stadium, you’ll have to mark your calendar for a future date! They have other fireworks nights scheduled throughout July, including July 18th, 19th, and 25th.

Friday, July 4th: The Main Event!

Independence Day itself is packed with major celebrations across the state.
