Summer Streets 2026: Nikki Briar in Maplewood Village

A taste of country, a lick of rock! Hot, sassy country rocker Nikki Briar will get your boots stompin’ and hands clappin’, guaranteed. Born Nicole Signorella and raised in Garwood, New Jersey, Briar comes from genuine musical roots, her father Joseph made his living as a touring drummer for a Motown band called The Victorians, while her mother Oksana was a classically trained pianist. Performing over 200 shows a year, Briar has built a reputation as one of the hardest working country touring artists on the East Coast since 2011, opening for national acts including the Marshall Tucker Band, Blackberry Smoke, Chris Janson, and Lorrie Morgan, and headlining The Stone Pony. A proud Army wife active in the military community, Briar’s debut album A Soldier’s Princess was written and dedicated to her husband Angelo while he was deployed overseas, and she has raised thousands of dollars for hurricane relief and animal rescue charities through her own benefit concert series. Bringing her signature country rock sound to Maplewood Village’s Summer Streets, Briar and her band deliver a night of genuine Jersey Girl country energy.
