Tucked in the vibrant heart of Westfield, New Jersey, Lions Roar Brewing Co. is more than just a craft brewery — it’s a passion project brought to life by a husband-and-wife team with a bold dream and a whole lot of heart.
What began with a Father’s Day homebrewing kit and a curiosity-fueled hobby soon became a backyard ritual of beer tastings and good company. But after a personal loss reminded founder Tim just how short life can be, that passion grew into something even greater — a mission to brew with purpose and community at its core.
Today, Lions Roar proudly embraces its roots as a "mom and pop" brewery. With a deliberately small footprint and a local-first mindset, this neighborhood gem brews craft beer for the people — friends, neighbors, and anyone looking to connect over a cold pour and a warm atmosphere.
Inside, you'll find more than just great beer. MADDIE BO - AMERICAN LAGER
This is the original Pab…wait, no it’s not! This is Maddie Bo, our brewer’s interpretation of a classic, light American lager! “Nature’s choicest ingredients” make it the perfect easy-drinking, anytime beer. Light bodied and pouring pale gold, aromas of fresh bread and cracker are sure to please. A subtle, bready sweetness with just enough hop character to balance, invites another sip.
ABV: 4.7% IBU: 14
NEVER STOP IN THE CIRCLE - NEW ENGLAND IPA
Our staple hazy New England IPA! Never Stop in the Circle features heavy late additions of Mosaic, Motueka, and Rakau hops for a full-bodied, juicy beer bursting with flavors of fried orchard fruit, ripe berries and zingy citrus on the nose and palate. Finishes unbelievably smooth with little bitterness.
ABV: 6.5% IBU: 30
PUCKER UP AND PIVOT - RASPBERRY SOUR
This refreshing raspberry sour lives up to it's name! The perfect balance of tart and sweet from the berries- this sour is sure to please!
ABV: 4.2% IBU: 6
SOCCER IS FOOTBALL - ESB
A traditional British style of beer that doesn't get too much love stateside, Soccer is Football pours a gorgeous copper color. Crisp bitterness is balanced by a malty sweetness and some subtle floral and earthy notes from the British hops.
ABV: 4.4% IBU: 41
WE NEEDED THIS! - WHITE IPA
A classic Belgian witbier brewed like an IPA, with hefty additions of Citra, Amarillo, and Nelson Sauvin hops in the boil and dry hop. First taste bursts with citrus witbier flavors of coriander, orange peel, and grains of paradise. Finishes smooth with a pine hop bitterness.
ABV: 5.8 IBU: 57
THREE KVEIKS, YOU’RE OUT - NORDIC PALE ALE
Kveik yeast used in the fermentation process results in a refreshing pale ale with citrus aromas, hints of farmhouse character, and a gentle hop bite! Whether you're watching your favorite team from the stands or kicking back on the couch, our pale ale is the perfect brew to elevate your game.

HARD SELTZER

while our hard seltzers are made gluten free, they are made in our production area where our beer is made

TOOLBOX DAY - AMERICAN IPA
We jam-packed this batch with way too much Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic and Vic Secret hops for a robust and hoppy IPA that finishes sweet and tropical-fruity. An IPA designed for IPA lovers!

SLEEP’S FOR LOSERS - COFFEE PORTER
Velvety, decadent coffee ale cold brew-conditioned with fresh roasted Sumatrian coffee beans, resulting in a truly unique dessert beer with heavy notes of peppery spice, roasted nuts, sweet dark chocolate and finishes with a bitter espresso flavor.
ABV: 6.1% IBU: 27
