Thousands Gather for Food, Music, and Fun at the 41st Annual Willingboro Jazz Festival

The 41st Annual Willingboro Jazz Festival Triumphantly Returned to Burlington County. The 41st Annual Willingboro Jazz Festival made its triumphant return to Burlington County last weekend, drawing thousands of attendees to the vibrant celebration.

“It was a fantastic event,” said Acting Director of Recreation & Parks Dionne Bolden. “It was like a reunion where people came together, set up tents, visited vendors, and reconnected with friends they hadn’t seen in a while.”

As the largest music festival in Willingboro, the festival took place on Sunday at Millcreek Park. The day-long extravaganza featured an impressive lineup of local and international artists performing on the main stage.

This year’s headliners included Philadelphia’s renowned Kindred and the Family Soul, along with the versatile R&B singer and rapper Dwele. Other standout acts included the Urban Guerilla Orchestra, Exit 45, and Camden’s own Arnetta Johnson, famously known as the Trumpet Chic.

Attendees began arriving early to secure their spots and enjoy the festivities. “I looked forward to this event every year,” shared Gloria Galloway from Willingboro. “I hadn’t been able to attend in recent years, but this time I was determined to be here.”

The Willingboro Jazz Festival, which began in the early 1980s, had grown significantly over the years. What started as a music event had now expanded to include a wide array of vendors and a bustling row of food trucks.

“This food truck had been open for just three months, and being there was a new experience for us,” said Rodney Ganges from the Kitchen of Class food truck. “It was an honor to be part of this beautiful event.”

Each year, the festival attracts more than 10,000 people to Millcreek Park. “We had been attending this festival since I was a teenager,” said Jackson. “It’s our family tradition. This festival was right in our backyard, and it was something we always looked forward to.”

The festival ran from noon to 8 p.m., concluding with a spectacular fireworks display, capping off a day filled with music, food, and community spirit.
