Located inside ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, the Sand Bar is the BlueClaws’ newest outdoor social space, offering fans a casual, beachy atmosphere to unwind, sip on local brews, and enjoy live music that keeps playing into first pitch.

Concerts start at 6:15 PM, giving fans a unique opportunity to groove into the game, which begins at 7:05 PM. And yes—there are beer specials during each event, making it the perfect blend of a night out and a ballgame experience.

🎶 June 21 – The Shantys (Irish Heritage Night)

Celebrate Irish pride with The Shantys, who’ll bring traditional and contemporary Irish tunes to the Sand Bar stage. It’s all part of Irish Heritage Night, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates get a BlueClaws Irish Hat, courtesy of New Jersey Natural Gas. Expect a sea of green and good vibes all around.

🌈 July 26 – Chronicles of Rock & Roll (Pride Night)

🤠 August 9 – Tequila Rose (Country Night & Salute to Heroes)

It’s boots, hats, and heartstrings as Tequila Rose, New Jersey’s hottest “New Country” band, takes over the Sand Bar. It’s a dual celebration: Country Night and Salute to Heroes Night, honoring local first responders and military heroes. Expect a mix of patriotism and party.

🎸 August 23 – Splintered Sunlight (Grateful Dead Tribute + Fireworks)

Calling all Deadheads! Splintered Sunlight, one of the top Grateful Dead tribute bands in the Northeast, will be lighting up the Sand Bar with classic jams and psychedelic grooves. To make the night even more special:

  • BlueClaws players will wear custom jerseys, auctioned off for charity
  • Proceeds go to BlueClaws Charities
  • Post-game fireworks cap off the night in spectacular fashion
