For two decades, the organization has enriched the cultural landscape of New Jersey by presenting stellar jazz artists and fostering musical education. The 2025 summer lineup is a testament to their dedication, featuring a continuous array of events designed to showcase diverse jazz styles and engage the community.
An Unforgettable Summer Lineup
This season offers a mix of ticketed and free events, ensuring accessibility for all residents and visitors:
- Summer Jazz Café: Experience four weekends of sophisticated, world-class jazz in an intimate setting at Triumph Restaurant & Brewery. Artists include the Frank Vignola Trio (July 11-12), Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Quartet (July 18-19), the Valery Ponomarev Quintet (July 25-26), and the James Austin, Jr. Quintet (August 1-2). Ticket prices are $30, and reservations are required.
- Jazz in the Park: Enjoy free, enchanting Thursday evening concerts at 7:00 PM at Riverside Gardens Park. Highlights include performances by the Grace Fox Big Band (July 10), Winard Harper and Jeli Posse (July 31), and the Julius Tolentino Quintet (August 14).
- Westside Park Jazz Series: Catch free Sunday afternoon concerts at 3:00 PM at Johnny Jazz Park. This series features artists such as the Chuck Lambert Band (August 3), Arturo O’Farrill Afro-Latin Jazz (August 10), and Winard Harper and Jeli Posse (August 24).
