On July 26th, ShoreTown Ballpark, home of our very own Jersey Shore BlueClaws, will be the final stop for the “World’s Most Autographed Baseball” – an incredible, eight-foot-tall sphere being signed by thousands of baseball fans across the country. This isn’t just a quirky attraction; it’s a testament to the unifying power of Minor League Baseball and a truly unique event for New Jersey residents and visitors alike.
Imagine an eight-foot baseball, towering over fans, adorned with countless signatures, each representing a moment of connection and shared passion for the game. This monumental undertaking, in partnership with Major League Baseball, has been on a 15-city ballpark tour, collecting signatures and stories along the way. The BlueClaws are thrilled to host its grand finale, allowing our devoted local fans to add their mark to this growing piece of history. As BlueClaws General Manager Bob McLane enthusiastically noted, “Each signature from a BlueClaws fan is a new record, making this an even more amazing addition to a special night!” This initiative truly embodies what Minor League Baseball is all about: an unpredictable, accessible, and thoroughly enjoyable experience that unites clubs with their incredible communities around a common love for the sport.
The excitement is building for this special evening! Gates to ShoreTown Ballpark will swing open at 6:00 PM on July 26th, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM. You’ll find the majestic, record-breaking baseball positioned conveniently down the third base line, right next to the lively Sand Bar, making it easy for every fan to participate and leave their mark.
But the “World’s Most Autographed Baseball” isn’t the only highlight of this action-packed night. As part of the Farro’s Tees Summer Concert Series, ShoreTown Ballpark will host a performance by the fantastic The Chronicles of Rock & Roll, playing from 6:15 PM until 9:00 PM, setting the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening at the ballpark. To top it all off, the evening also marks Pride Night, proudly presented by Coca-Cola, adding another layer of community celebration and inclusion to an already unforgettable event.
