Baseball fans and young athletes across New Jersey are in for an action-packed weekend at Skylands Stadium. The Sussex County Miners are opening their home field for a FREE youth baseball clinic this Saturday, August 16, 2025 — and it’s just the start of a weekend filled with exciting games, charity events, fireworks, and family fun.
FREE Youth Baseball Clinic – Learn from the Miners

From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, kids ages 5 to 12 will have the rare opportunity to step onto the same diamond where the Miners play and train. This hands-on clinic will focus on baseball fundamentals, helping young athletes improve their hitting, throwing, fielding, and base-running skills — all while having a blast with other players their age.

Whether your child is just picking up a glove for the first time or is already playing in Little League, this clinic is designed for all skill levels. In addition to skill-building, it’s a confidence booster that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.
