Get ready for a cinematic experience like no other at the 44th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival, returning this fall with a dynamic hybrid format. From September 5 through October 10, this highly anticipated event will showcase a diverse lineup of groundbreaking independent films, available both virtually on demand and in-person at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
Each film will stream online for 24 hours on its scheduled date, starting at 12:00 AM EST, giving film lovers the flexibility to watch from anywhere. If you’re local or looking for a night out, select screenings will also take place live at Voorhees Hall #105 on the Rutgers campus, offering an engaging community atmosphere and exclusive discussions.

This season, the festival proudly features three free filmmaking workshops, designed for aspiring creatives and open to the public. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
And don’t miss a special multimedia concert by the critically acclaimed Cold Weather Company on Friday, October 10 at 7PM—a unique blend of music and visual storytelling that will close the festival on a high note.
