I initially had these birds down as glossy ibis with a possible white mixed in, considering glossy occur along the Delaware at times and due to the humidity my bins were still defogging as the birds flew by, so initial looks weren't great. Sure enough my photos showed grayish birds rather than the all dark glossy I was expecting. These were immature white ibis, showing grayish overall colors and white on the underside of the wings." The bill was long, heavy and dark. The bird was feeding by probing while standing in the water. Could not decide if Atlantic or Central population individual. On 2 occasions it chased an overly vocal Killdeer around a bit and landed back where the "chase" began. Have a decent digi-scope photo but too dumb to attach."
