Building on the momentum of a dinner series that captivated local foodies, this new brick-and-mortar restaurant is poised to become an essential destination for those who appreciate modern, vegetable-forward dining.

Slated for an early September debut, the intimate 26-seat eatery promises a deeply personal and evolving menu. With a focus on what's available from local farms and purveyors, the menu will be a living document, changing every two weeks to reflect the freshest seasonal ingredients. This commitment to local sourcing and dynamic creativity sets Sam’s Table apart as a true showcase of New Jersey's seasonal bounty.

Diners can expect two distinct experiences: an à la carte menu will be served on Thursdays and Sundays, offering a taste of Chef Stymest's modern American fare. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant will present a curated tasting menu for $92 per person, providing an immersive journey through the chef's culinary artistry.

Taking over the former Tasca space, Sam’s Table marks a return to Montclair for Chef Stymest, who previously honed his skills at local favorites like Fascino and Corso 98, as well as the renowned Craft Bar in New York City. His diverse background and passion for fresh, inventive cuisine are set to infuse the local dining scene with a fresh perspective.
