Revell Hall

Description

Revell Hall Opens a New Culinary Chapter on Burlington’s Riverfront

A fresh dining destination has arrived along the Delaware River with the opening of Revell Hall, a semi-fine-dining American restaurant that debuted in historic Burlington on December 10, 2025. Set at 219 High Street in the longtime riverfront space formerly home to the Riverview Restaurant and Café Gallery, Revell Hall is already drawing attention for its ambitious menu, striking setting, and elevated yet inviting approach to hospitality.

Anchoring the concept is Chef Joey Sergentakis, a Michelin-starred talent known in New Jersey dining circles for his work at Boschetto in Montclair. At Revell Hall, Sergentakis brings a globally influenced vision centered on wood-fired cooking and seasonal ingredients. The menu moves confidently between European technique, Asian depth, and Latin vibrancy, resulting in dishes that feel refined without losing warmth or approachability.

The kitchen’s signature plates highlight both creativity and balance. Guests are gravitating toward Korean barbecue pork belly skewers paired with shiso yogurt, pillowy Hokkaido milk buns finished with rosemary honey butter, and Spanish-style grilled octopus prepared over open flame. Entrées such as cast-iron miso black cod underscore the restaurant’s focus on layered flavors and careful technique, while smaller plates encourage shared dining and exploration.

Beyond the food, Revell Hall’s physical space sets it apart. The expansive 10,000-square-foot venue features multiple dining environments, including two main dining rooms, a relaxed lounge, a sunlit sunroom, and a spacious outdoor courtyard designed for warm-weather service and private gatherings. The layout allows the restaurant to transition seamlessly from intimate dinners to larger celebrations, reinforcing its role as a community gathering place on Burlington’s waterfront.

The restaurant is also positioning itself as a destination for seasonal events, highlighted by its New Year’s Eve programming. To welcome 2026, Revell Hall is offering a four-course prix fixe dinner with multiple evening seatings, giving guests a chef-driven culinary experience to start the night. Later in the evening, an upstairs midnight soiree will feature live music, an open bar, and passed appetizers in a more festive setting, with limited tickets available to maintain an intimate atmosphere. Diners attending the prix fixe dinner have the option to extend their evening with a discounted entry to the celebration.

Revell Hall’s arrival reflects a broader resurgence in Burlington’s dining and cultural scene. The city’s historic architecture, river views, and walkable downtown have made it increasingly attractive to both visitors and locals, and the restaurant adds a contemporary anchor to that momentum. By honoring the site’s history while introducing a modern culinary identity, Revell Hall bridges Burlington’s past and present.

For those tracking notable openings and evolving food trends across the Garden State, Revell Hall stands as one of the most significant recent additions. Ongoing coverage of standout eateries and culinary news can be found in the restaurants section, where New Jersey’s diverse dining landscape continues to expand.
