Directed by Charlotte Cohn\, this electrifying production marks the New Jersey premiere of a play that’s already stirred thought-provoking conversations in New York and beyond. \n\n\n\nSet in a not-so-distant future\, Walden follows Stella\, a former NASA botanist\, and her fiancé Bryan\, as they await a visit from her estranged twin sister Cassie—fresh off a triumphant moon mission. Hearing enhancers are also provided at the tech booth for every performance\, on a first-come\, first-served basis (quantities are limited). \n\n\n\nPrepare for a deeply moving and thought-provoking theatrical experience with “Parade\,” the acclaimed Tony Award-winning musical. This powerful production delves into a dark chapter of America’s past\, exploring the true story of Leo Frank\, a Jewish factory manager wrongly accused of murder in 1913 Georgia amidst a backdrop of rampant religious intolerance\, political injustice\, and racial tension. \n\n\n\nWith a compelling book by the celebrated playwright Alfred Uhry\, known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning “Driving Miss Daisy\,” and a magnificent\, haunting score by the three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (composer of “Songs For a New World\,” “The Last Five Years\,” and “The Bridges of Madison County”)\, “Parade” is a masterclass in storytelling. It meticulously examines how prejudice and fear can distort justice\, while simultaneously celebrating the enduring power of love and hope in the face of overwhelming adversity. \n\n\n\nThe musical is based on the infamous 1913 trial and subsequent lynching of Leo Frank. Frank\, a Brooklyn-raised Jew living in Atlanta\, was accused of killing 13-year-old Mary Phagan\, an employee at the factory he managed. Fueled by sensationalist media and rampant antisemitism\, the trial became a national scandal. Despite inconsistencies in testimony and a lack of credible evidence\, Frank was convicted. His death sentence was later commuted by the governor\, leading to his abduction from prison and lynching by an angry mob. “Parade” powerfully brings this harrowing narrative to the stage\, reminding audiences of the dangers of unchecked bigotry and the fight for truth. \n\n\n\nImportant Note: This production is best suited for mature audiences aged 17 and above due to its exploration of sensitive historical themes\, strong language\, and mature content. \n\n\n\nBooking Information: To secure your tickets\, simply select your desired date and time\, then choose your seats. On any given track\, it might seem like they’re about to go one way\, but the band will turn on a dime and shift course before the crowd can even catch a breath. This uncanny element of surprise has entrenched the gold-selling Ohio quartet—Landon Tewers [vocals]\, Josh Childress [guitar]\, Ethan Yoder [bass]\, and Michael Cooper [drums] — on the cutting edge of rock music. Whether it be threads of alternative\, electronic\, pop\, or R&B\, nothing is off limits\, and everything is fair game for their creative process. That process has continued to morph. Following a series of fan-favorite releases\, the band made major waves with DISPOSE [2018]. “FEEL NOTHING” surged on social media as a viral phenomenon\, generating hundreds of millions of streams and picking up a gold certification in the U.S.\, Canada and Australia. The musicians only maintained this momentum with Swan Song in 2021. Hysteria rated it “9-out-of-10”. Simultaneously\, they sold out shows coast-to-coast.\nDuring 2023\, the band kickstarted another era with Vol. 1. “Divide” having generated 16 million Spotify streams and counting followed by “Left Behind”\, exploding to the tune of 31 million Spotify streams with no signs of slowing down. Upon the arrival of “Forgotten”\, Revolver praised it among the “6 Best New Songs Right Now.” The Plot In You’s Vol. 2 EP is a powerful showcase of the band’s evolution\, blending raw emotion with polished musicality and stands as a testament to The Plot In You’s growth and artistic maturity\, captivating listeners with its intense yet introspective narratives with tracks “Closure”\, “Don’t Look Away”\, and “All That I Can Give” further solidifying their place as one of the genre’s most compelling acts.\nNow with the impending arrival of their new EP\, Vol. 3\, the band is set to captivate fans once again. Featuring three compelling tracks\, the lead single “Been Here Before” explores the emotional turbulence of relationships\, weaving a narrative of enduring the highs and lows. “Spare Me” delves into the heavy burden of societal pressures and the palpable guilt that comes from feeling helpless in the face of overwhelming news. “Pretend” offers a raw look at the world’s current state\, channeling a sense of disillusionment and examining the disengagement of looking away from the tragedies that are happening daily. Vol. 3 promises to be a powerful addition to the band’s discography\, reflecting their knack for tackling profound themes with sincerity and intensity. Hear hits from Howard Jones like “No One is to Blame\,” “What is Love?\,” “New Song\,” and “Things Can Only Get Better.” Joining Jones is Haircut One Hundred\, who burned bright in the early ’80s with songs like “Fantastic Day” and “Love Plus One\,” and DJ Richard Blade (KROQ\, Los Angeles; Video One; MV3; VideoBeat).\nElectronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades\, playing live in a number of different configurations\, including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. He first burst upon the contemporary music scene with his very English songwriting and pioneering synthesizers in 1983’s “New Song.” His first two albums\, Human’s Lib and Dream Into Action\, were worldwide hits. Human’s Lib reached #1 in 1984 in the UK and featured the hits “New Song” and “What Is Love?” In 1985\, Jones released the follow-up\, Dream Into Action\, which quickly became a Top 10 Platinum album in the U.S. and featured the hits “Things Can Only Get Better\,” “Life In One Day\,” “No One Is To Blame\,” and “Like To Get To Know You Well.”\nHoward Jones has sold upwards of 10 million albums worldwide and continues to make new music and tour the world. He has performed on NBC’s top-rated morning and nighttime shows\, respectively\, Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His ubiquitous hits can be heard in such high-profile TV series and films as Stranger Things\, Breaking Bad\, Watchmen\, The Carrie Diaries\, Superstore\, and Bumblebee. His most recent album is Dialogue\, which was released in September 2022. Dialogue is the third album in a trilogy of electronic releases from Jones with the multi-media project Engage and the studio album Transform.\nOf all pop’s shining\, fiery comets\, Haircut One Hundred burned brightly\, gave off heat\, changed the landscape\, and then\, as fast as they appeared\, were gone\, leaving many happy memories.\nFor 18 months or so in the early 1980s\, Haircut did their thing. They were led by irrepressible songsmith\, lead vocalist\, and rhythm guitarist Nick Heyward with South London’s Stanley Clarke\, Les Nemes\, on the bass. Adding Graham Jones\, on lead guitar\, and then\, Memphis-born Blair Cunningham—a man who had lived several lifetimes by the age of 24—on drums\, the group charmed both press and public with their oblique-yet-everyman lyrics\, brisk funk\, and sunshine pop. Who can forget songs as joyous and memorable as “Fantastic Day\,” “Love Plus One\,” and “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)\,” and the accompanying album\, the mighty\, flirty\, and flighty Pelican West. Pelican West was already platinum-certified in the UK only three months after release. The album spent 11 consecutive weeks in the British Top 10 and twice reached No. 2. It also charted in the U.S.\, Australia\, and beyond.\nBy 1983\, it was all over\, and the band stepped out separately. Aside from Nick Heyward’s tremendously well-regarded solo career (nine acclaimed albums to date\, including the Geoff Emerick-produced masterpiece North of a Miracle)\, Jones went on to co-found underground scenesters Boys Wonder; Nemes toured with 80s’ icon Rick Astley; and Cunningham drummed with a veritable who’s who of pop including Paul McCartney.\nTo celebrate the 40th Anniversary release of Pelican West\, Haircut One Hundred reunited in May 2023 for an emotionally charged\, hit-laden sold-out show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. A UK and U.S. tour followed\, as well as a prestigious Glastonbury appearance. Suddenly\, as if from nowhere\, the band were recording again: a new single appeared\, “The Unloving Plum\,” which became BBC Radio 2’s Record Of The Week. The novelty of reforming soon gave way to reality. “We thought the reunion show would be emotional\, but it’s been getting more emotional as we go along\,” Nick said in 2024. “It’s like a dynamo\, like a bike—it’s picking up speed and energy as it goes.” And now\, it’s a new chapter for the group—a brand-new album is nearly finished\, and the group are keen to share this material\, as fresh as a daisy.\nRichard Blade is one of the most popular and best-known DJs in America\, and hosts a daily radio show on both SiriusXM 1st Wave Ch. 33 and middays on KCBS\, Jack FM. Blade was born in England\, educated at Oxford\, and after touring Europe for two years as a DJ\, moved to the U.S. In the 1980’s he was the top-rated morning drive DJ on KROQ\, Los Angeles\, and hosted and directed numerous TV shows and series including Video One\, MV3\, and VideoBeat. Other notable radio stations Blade worked at included KMGN\, Bakersfield (morning drive & program director)\, KZOZ\, San Luis Obispo (morning drive and program director)\, KNAC\, Long Beach (evenings)\, and KYSR\, Los Angeles (evenings). In 1991\, he created\, with Andy Schuon and Lewis Largent\, Richard Blade’s Flashback Lunch which aired daily at noon and was copied by many stations across North America. It also spawned a series of six CDs on Sony Music\, Richard Blade’s Flashback Favorites. The group’s led a charmed life in many respects it’s true\, but it’s been a long haul since the days they’d meet up in the bars and clubs around Moseley\, and some of them had to scrape by on less than £8 a week unemployment benefit. The choice was simple if you’d left school early. You could either work in one of the local factories\, like Robin Campbell did\, or scuffle along aimlessly whilst waiting for something else to happen.\nBy the summer of 1978\, something else did happen\, and the nucleus of UB40 began rehearsing in a local basement. Robin’s younger brother Ali\, Earl Falconer\, Brian Travers and James Brown all knew each other from Moseley School of Art\, whilst Norman Hassan had been a friend of the Campbell’s since junior school. Initially\, they thought of themselves as an instrumental “jazz-dub-reggae” band\, but by the time Robin was persuaded to rejoin and much later they’d recruited Michael Virtue and lastly Astro – who’d learnt his craft with Birmingham sound-system Duke Alloy – the group had already aligned themselves to left-wing political ideals and forged their own identity\, separate from the many punk and Two Tone outfits around at that time. The group had nailed their colours to the mast by naming themselves after an unemployment benefit form. Their political convictions hadn’t been gleaned second hand either\, but cemented in place whilst attending marches protesting against the National Front\, or rallies organised by Rock Against Racism. The Budapest\, Hungary-born maverick singer\, songwriter\, performer\, and frontwoman of the Los Angeles-based eponymous band DOROTHY brings gusto\, grit\, and glory back to hard rock\, exuding superstar-size confidence coupled with the quiet resolve of an old school Western anti-hero. She has unassumingly blazed her own trail with sold out tours\, major collaborations\, and over 1 billion streams already in the rearview. DOROTHY arrived with the force of a hurricane back in 2016\, serving up the full-length debut ROCKISDEAD. Surging on DSPs\, “Raise Hell” reeled in over 85 million Spotify streams followed by “Wicked Ones” with 77 million Spotify streams. The band organically attracted a diehard global fanbase with 28 Day in the Valley [2018] and Gifts From The Holy Ghost [2022]. KERRANG! hailed the latter as “a hot-blooded rock ‘n’ roll record through and through\,” and RIFF raved\, “Holy Ghost serves as a triumphant battle cry and a return to form.” Perhaps\, Outburn put it best\, “it’s her most bombastic and gloriously\, victorious rock and roll work yet.” Simultaneously\, the singer took flight as the rare dynamo equally at home on a track with Slash and Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper or Staind and Scott Stapp of Creed. She even notably dueted with Stapp at the Grand Ole Opry. However\, her vision really catches fire on the group’s fourth full-length album\, The Way [Roc Nation]\, introduced by the single “Tombstone Town” [feat. Slash].
