These Rock & Roll soldiers pride themselves on nailing some of the most memorable licks and chops of all time\, while adding their own style and flare that they’ve cultivated over decades of tireless performing. SUMMARY:Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
DESCRIPTION:Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Brings Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to Life\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey invites audiences to confront one of literature’s most enduring questions: who is the true monster — the creator or the creation? Their latest production\, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein\, adapted by David Catlin\, immerses theatergoers in a chilling\, thought-provoking retelling of the Gothic classic\, running through November 16. \n\n\n\nSet against a backdrop of flickering lightning and rolling thunder\, this adaptation captures the full intensity of Mary Shelley’s original vision. The story delves into themes of ambition\, creation\, love\, and revenge\, all while presenting audiences with haunting questions about the nature of humanity. The stage becomes a living\, breathing Gothic landscape where horror and pathos collide\, and where the consequences of unbridled scientific curiosity ripple through the lives of both creator and creature. \n\n\n\nThe cast is led by Amber Friendly as Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley/Elizabeth\, Neil Redfield in the dual role of Dr. John Polidori/Henry\, and Brooke Turner as Claire Clairmont/Mother. Jay Wade portrays the Creature\, a role that demands both physical presence and emotional depth\, while Sean-Michael Wilkinson brings Victor Frankenstein to life\, portraying a man driven by obsession and haunted by his own hubris. All five principal performers are members of the Actors Equity Association\, bringing a polished and professional energy to this immersive experience. \n\n\n\nUnder the direction of Brian B. Crowe\, the production combines stylized horror with moments of profound introspection. Haze and carefully crafted lighting effects heighten the atmosphere\, pulling the audience deeper into the narrative as the lines between science and morality blur. While the production contains elements of horror and stylized violence\, it is equally a meditation on grief\, isolation\, and the human desire for connection. The adaptation encourages viewers to consider what it truly means to play God and the ethical implications of unchecked ambition. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRecommended for audiences ages 12 and older\, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is not just a Halloween thrill — it’s an intellectually engaging journey that challenges viewers to consider the consequences of creation and the responsibilities that come with power. The production’s mix of suspense\, dark humor\, and emotional intensity makes it a standout in this season’s lineup at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. \n\n\n\nTickets and additional information for this gripping production can be found through Explore New Jersey Theatre. Audiences looking for a night of Gothic intrigue\, theatrical excellence\, and the eerie pulse of classic literature brought to life will find Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein a captivating experience not to be missed.

DESCRIPTION:This new adaptation restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker’s classic novel to the stage. As Count Dracula begins to exert his will upon the residents of London\, they try to piece together the clues of his appearances—in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a hideous fate. Rich with both humor and horror\, this play paints a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker’s famous vampire.\nPerformances\nFriday\, October 17\, 2025 7:30 PM\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025 2:00 PM\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025 7:30 PM\nSunday\, October 19\, 2025 2:00 PM\nFriday\, October 24\, 2025 7:30 PM\nSaturday\, October 25\, 2025 2:00 PM\nSaturday\, October 25\, 2025 7:30 PM\nSunday\, October 26\, 2025 2:00 PM\nCast\nCheck back soon\nProduction Crew\nCheck back soon\nAbout the OCC Repertory Theater Company\nUnder the direction of Performing Arts Program Chair Paul Chalakani\, the mission of the OCC/REP is to create opportunities for college and community participation in various rich and diverse theatrical experiences. SUMMARY:Herbie Hancock: 2025 Fall Tour
DESCRIPTION:Now in the seventh decade of his professional life\, Herbie Hancock remains where he has always been: at the forefront of world culture\, technology\, business and music. Herbie Hancock has been an integral part of every popular music movement since the 1960’s. As a member of the Miles Davis Quintet that pioneered a groundbreaking sound in jazz\, he also developed new approaches on his own recordings\, followed by his work in the 70s — with record-breaking albums such as “Headhunters” — that combined electric jazz with funk and rock in an innovative style that continues to influence contemporary music. “Rockit” and “Future Shock” marked Hancock’s foray into electronic dance sounds; during the same period he also continued to work in an acoustic setting with V.S.O.P. The lineup for the bergenPAC performance will feature:\nHerbie Hancock on keys\nTerrence Blanchard on trump\nJames Genus on bass\nLionel Loueke on guitar and vocals\nJaylen Petinaud on drums

SUMMARY:Dutchman and The Slave
DESCRIPTION:Dutchman and The Slave – Theater Production \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience a groundbreaking theatrical event with Dutchman and The Slave\, a powerful two-act presentation that reimagines two classic works by acclaimed playwright and activist Amiri Baraka\, formerly known as LeRoi Jones. \n\n\n\nDutchman delivers a charged and symbolic retelling of the Adam and Eve story\, set entirely on a subway car\, exploring themes of desire\, conflict\, and societal tension. The Slave delves into racial dynamics in modern America\, following Walker Vessles\, a Black man confronting the complexities of visiting his ex-wife—now married to a white professor. \n\n\n\nThis production merges both plays into a single\, seamless performance\, offering audiences a unique experience unlike any previous staging. Expect thought-provoking dialogue\, intense performances\, and a creative interpretation that brings new depth to Baraka’s enduring works.
