    The Sam Grisman Project was born out of Sam’s deep connection to the acoustic legacy of his father, David Grisman, and Jerry Garcia. Inspired by the joyful, heartfelt collaborations he grew up around, Sam formed a band to celebrate that timeless sound—while also introducing fresh, original material.

    In 2025, Sam and his band are teaming up with longtime family friend and bluegrass legend Peter Rowan for a special series of shows honoring Old & In The Way. This unique collaboration brings the music and spirit of the iconic group back to life for a new generation of fans.
