Roadwork will cause daytime and overnight lane closures on the George Washington Bridge, I-287 and Route 46.
The Prudential Center will host the KBS concert on Thursday; and the Powerhouse concert featuring Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Lil Durk, Ice Spice, SpinKing & Friends and Lola Brooke on Saturday. As pumpkin-picking season concludes, the West Milford Police Department will take measures to alleviate traffic this weekend, specifically on Greenwood Lake and Warwick turnpikes. There may be heavy traffic in the area, so plan extra time or alternate routes for travel.
It’s the battle of the home teams when the Jets and Giants square off at MetLife Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. The parking lots open at 8 a.m., so expect traffic to start building early as fans of both teams make their way to the Meadowlands.

Bergen County traffic
- The Giants and Jets battle each other on their mutual home turf of MetLife Stadium on Oct. 29 at 1 p.m., with parking lots opening at 8 a.m.
- Horse racing at Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford on Fridays and Saturdays may cause some extra congestion in the area.
- One lane will be closed on the George Washington Bridge Upper Level eastbound from from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 26, and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 27. Three lanes will be closed on the Upper Level eastbound from 10 p.m. on Oct. 26 to 5 a.m. on Oct. 27. The right lane will be closed for construction on the Lower Level eastbound, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. The Lower Level will be closed entirely from 11 p.m. on Oct. 28 to 8 a.m. on Oct. 29.
- The right lane will be closed for the installation of a sign structure on Route 3 eastbound near the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.
- One lane will be closed for construction on Route 46 in both directions near Central Avenue in Teterboro, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.
- All lanes will be closed intermittently for construction and line striping on the New Jersey Turnpike/I-80 northbound between Ridgefield and Ridgefield Park, from 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 27.

- The ramp to Berdan Avenue from Route 208 northbound will be closed for milling and paving operations on Oct. 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The express lanes will be closed for guard rail repairs on I-95 northbound between exit 70 in Ridgefield Park and exit 72A in Fort Lee, from 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 5 a.m. on Oct. 28.

- On Oct. 28 and Oct. 29, the traffic light at the intersection of Warwick Turnpike and Lakeshore Drive South will be steady green and steady red for traffic on Lakeshore Drive South and Utopia Deli parking lot; and an officer will be assigned to the intersection, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to assist with the flow of traffic to and from apple- and pumpkin picking locations and events. Residents are reminded that even with these measures there may still be heavy traffic in the area and to plan extra time or alternate routes for travel.
- The right lane will be closed on Route 20 in both directions between E. 38th Street and 21st Avenue in Paterson, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.
- At least one lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between exit 57 in Paterson and exit 47A in Parsippany, from 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 to 8 a.m. on Oct. 28.
- Two lanes will be closed for construction on Route 3 eastbound between Route 46 and Grove Street in Clifton, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Oct. 28.
- Two lanes will be closed for construction on Route 46 eastbound between Browertown Road in Little Falls and Valley Road in Clifton, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Oct. 28.
- The right lane will be closed for utility work on Route 23 in both directions from I-80 in Wayne to Hamburg Turnpike in West Milford, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 30 through Nov. 10.
- The Fair Lawn Avenue bridge will remain closed between Second Street in Fair Lawn and Route 20 in Paterson for bridge replacement through Nov. 30.
- Construction will continue to keep the Route 46 westbound ramp to Valley Road in Clifton closed until Feb. 4.
Sussex County traffic
- Two lanes will be closed for gas main work on Route 206 southbound near Waterloo Road in Byram, from 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 to 5 a.m. on Oct. 27.
