Now, The U.S. Sun has learned that as the end of filming approaches, the sisters-in-law may not have an explosive showdown as seen in last season’s finale and reunion.

“Teresa doesn’t want to have a fight with Melissa on camera. She’d rather avoid another screaming match,” a source told The U.S. Sun.

“She feels like she said what she had to say at the reunion and that was that. She has no interest in making mends at this point in time.”

Melissa and Teresa have been forced to film together at certain events in recent weeks, such as Danielle Cabral’s Boujie Kidz’s party and Dolores Catania’s annual charity softball game.

The source added: “As we’ve all seen in the past, emotions can get the best of Teresa, and if Melissa were to make a comment or confront her, she can go from zero to 100 real quick.”

Filming is expected to wrap by the end of this month after the ladies go on their cast trip, which The U.S. Sun has learned will take place in The Berkshires, Massachusetts.

“Everyone is supposed to go on the trip, including Teresa and Melissa,” the source spilled.

The U.S. Sun was told that producers still “aren’t forcing a confrontation” between the rivals and are “letting things happen naturally.”

The source noted: “Teresa and Melissa both have an ‘it is what it is’ mindset and are just letting it be. They are not working on repairing anything now.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to Teresa and Melissa’s reps for comment.

CAST WEIGHS IN

Some of the cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey took a break from filming on October 12 to show their support at the Global Lyme Alliance (GLA) Gala at Cipriani in New York City.

Both Margaret Josephs, 56, and Dolores Catania, 52, told The U.S. Sun that they don’t think Bravo fans are going to see a big fight between Teresa and Melissa.

“No, I don’t [see it happening]. I think that ship has sailed and I think there’s nothing more to discuss,” the Macbeth Collection founder shared.

Meanwhile, Dolores chimed in: “I don’t see any [fight]. Jersey is always very unpredictable, so I couldn’t tell you.

“Every day is different. Every day it’s easier to predict the weather than what’s going to happen on Jersey.”

Paul Connell, Dolores’ boyfriend, also weighed in on the drama surrounding the Gorgas and Teresa and her husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas.

“It’s unfortunate, but I’m hopeful that adults will be adults and someday we’ll get past that,” he remarked.

“I’d like for everybody to have no conflict. It doesn’t mean we all have to go and hang out and have dinner as a group. Just for there to be maybe less tension.”

Paul has managed to remain “very neutral” and said that witnessing the adults’ behavior has been “unfortunate.”

FRIENDS SUPPORTING FRIENDS

Season 14 has so far welcomed three newbies, who are in the audition phase of the casting process, according to a source.

Kayla Giovinazzo, Jessica Kiraly, and Tiffany Chantell-Rosania have been joined the cast at filming events since producers had to scramble for drama after Melissa and Teresa “refused to speak to each other.”

The cast also includes Jennifer Aydin, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider.

Dolores called this season “stressful” since she’s finding it difficult to balance the different teams- Team Teresa versus Team Melissa.

“It hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had some people that are mad at me,” the mom of two told The U.S. Sun at the GLA Gala.

“Sometimes they want more from me and I always say to them – and I don’t think they can argue – ‘If you need me in the middle of the night, I’ll be there no matter whether I fought with another friend over you or not.’

She continued: “I support my friends. I don’t always support their fights and I don’t always agree with them.”

Dolores attended Melissa’s Envy by MG Fashion Show on October 4 and then was seen the next day supporting Teresa at her Namaste B$tches Podcast show.

SWITCHING TEAMS

Margaret, who is besties with Melissa, called it a “crazy season” and admitted there is a shift in relationships.

The U.S. Sun previously reported Jackie switched to Team Teresa after her fall out with Marge.

“I think there’s new shifts in different relationships, which is very interesting to me. But I think we always have managed somehow to surprise everybody,” Margaret insisted.

As the cast is preparing for their getaway to The Berkshires, Dolores commented on the situation at hand.

“It’ll be interesting. I don’t know that I’m looking forward to it, but I think it’ll be a pivotal moment for us,” she spilled.

At the end of the day, what matters most to the New Jersey native is showing her support to organizations like Global Lyme Alliance.

Dolores shared: “I’m here to support Global Lyme because there are so many people that suffer from Lyme that are misdiagnosed.

“They lose hope and I feel like Global Lyme reaches out to so many people, helps so many people, and it’s so important for them to know about this. I’m able to pass on the information I find out every year.”

The event that was planned by Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events featured an appearance by celebrity ambassador Christopher Meloni and a performance by Debbie Gibson.
