TRENTON — The capital city is about to go bananas.
As in Savannah Bananas.
The famous Harlem Globetrotters-esque baseball team is bringing its show to Trenton for a game against the Thunder on Aug. 9, 2023 at Thunder Ballpark.
The matchup will be played with Banana Ball rules — a set of nine new rules developed by the Bananas intended to make the game more fast-paced and entertaining — and is part of the the Challenger Series, which means instead of taking on their arch nemesis the Party Animals the Bananas are playing the Thunder.
The Thunder are set to embark on their third season as a member of the MLB Draft League.
